CAC China joined hands with Media Today Group, the organizer of AgriTech India series, last year to provide a new B2B Exhibition, 'India CropCare & Fertilizer Show (ICCF 2017)' in Bangalore, co-located with India's Largest AgriBusiness Show series.  

The 1st edition of ICCF got an overwhelming response from all quarters of the sector. It displayed the products and related technologies of over 100 companies from China, India, South Korea and many other countries. Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers' Institute of Pesticides Formulation Technology, Govt. of India actively supported the show and organized an International Seminar on "Sustainable Agriculture through Safer AgroChemicals", concurrently with ICCF 2016.

Looking beyond food security, the Government of India in its recent Budget set its target to double the income of farmers by 2022 and made multiple financial provisions to achieve this goal through making a substantial hike in its allocation to agriculture and allied sectors.

The farm sector received an allocation of Rs 47,912 crore in the budget for the year 2016-17, which is 84% more than what it had received during 2015-16. Agro Chemical and Fertilizer Industry expects that this budget will enable it to grow in coming years and it will encourage farmers to increase the productivity of all crops including horticulture, plantation, grain, cereals, spices,  & other commercial crops.

Agriculture, with its allied sectors, is unquestionably the largest livelihood provider in India, more so in the vast rural areas. It also contributes a significant figure to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). In recent years much emphasis has been given by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare on commercializing Indian agriculture. Strategies have been planned and schemes have been launched to achieve higher growth rate. These include focus on potential areas, regionally-differentiated strategies, crop diversification, precision farming, and scientific management of natural resources. 

Adequate production and distribution of food has become a high priority and global concern. In the fast changing world and increasing competition in a globalized economy, there is need to exploit the available resources to the maximum level and use the best internationally available technologies.

According to Feder Unacoma report, India is world's largest tractor market, with sales of 620,000 units in 2014, providing clear proof that India has emerged as new agricultural machinery mega market. 

In consonance with the efforts of Indian Government for making India self sufficient in food grain production and increasing farm income, Media Today Group is organizing AGRITECH INDIA 2017- International Exhibition on Agriculture, Farm Machinery & Agri Processing Technologies in Bangalore International Exhibition Center (BIEC) Tumkur Road, Bangalore, India, 28-29-30 August 2017.

AGRITECH INDIA 2017- will be an eye opener for the growers, wholesalers, importers, exporters and all other stakeholders of every segment of Agriculture and Farm Machinery, Equipment and allied sectors who want to expand and diversify their business and activities.
